cynthia founded burke lighting design in 1993. since then, her firm has specialized in architectural lighting design and controls for residential and commercial projects, providing creative solutions backed by technical expertise. her commitment to excellence has resulted in highly successful designs and satisfied clients.
cynthia earned her NCQLP lighting certification in 1999. the international association of lighting designers (IALD) welcomed her as an associate member in 1995. she has been active in the illuminating engineering society (IES) since 1983, serving on the board of directors of the san diego chapter in 1989 and 1994. ms. burke was also a member of the designers lighting forum (DLF) for six years and served as chairperson in 1989.
